Head of Compliance

If you are familiar with board room operations and UK financial services then this opportunity may be for you. This organisation is looking for a Head of Compliance primarily to support the work of the independent Compliance Committee and to deputise when required for the Chief Executive Officer.

Responsibilities:

- Liaise with Non Exec Directors and Chief Executive to ensure smooth running of the compliance process
- Attend compliance committee meetings
- Review the compliance framework
- Manage annual re-registration
- Organise providers review through Mystery Shopping Programme
- Develop and operate new sanctions regime

Candidate profile:

- Good communication and networking skills
- Aptitude to think strategically along with good decision making abilities
- Proven leadership skills and at the same time able to work as part of a team
- Ability to prioritise and deal confidently with sometimes challenging and emotional customer complaints
- Excellent knowledge of compliance planning
- Experience of the UK financial services or other regulatory environment would be an advantage

Salary: £30-40 for 3 days per week
