Our Client is a leading employment support and training services company, helping people to transform their lives and businesses through work, training, education and financial advice. They work in partnership with governments, public sector organisations, private sector companies, voluntary and community groups to deliver a range of front line public services.

They now have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Assurance Officer to join them on a 12 month fixed term maternity contract. Whilst this role is home based, or if you prefer you can work out of the Thetford office, it also involves travelling to multiple prison locations across the East of England.

Within the role you will ensure that our Client has effective processes and procedures in place, providing assurance to Senior Managers that delivery across the Offender Learning and Skills Service meets contractual requirements and is to a high performing and quality standard. 

Planning and delivering assurance focused prison visits across their OLASS provision, you will target areas for improvement, developing and providing training to the operation as necessary. Working strategically with Education Managers, Cluster Managers and Head of Prison Education to improve the internal quality and compliance, the role involves identifying and reporting on areas of risk whilst acting as a point of contact for compliance advice and support for prisons-based staff.

They are looking for someone who has demonstrable experience of implementing and embedding a compliance framework, who can use processes, information and knowledge to generate outstanding results. With experience in monitoring and delivering quality work to meet targets, you will have a knowledge of prisons and OLASS funded programmes.

With excellent communication skills and outstanding relationship building and people management skills, you will be confident, self-motivated and have a great attention to detail. A compliance related qualification is desirable but not essential.
