Job Title: Junior Project Manager

This company develops, manufactures and sells a range of highly innovative, market-changing products.

Their vision is to help customers in the world's biggest industry - food - minimise their inputs (energy, water, chemicals and labour) and maximise their outputs (yield, product quality and margin). The company develops and markets innovative solutions for efficient and robust cleaning and disinfection and food safety.

Due to growth, they are seeking a Junior Project Manager to assist the Project Manager with a range of projects, including coordinating product installations on customer sites.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Project Manager and offer administrative support across the full project lifecycle
- Development of project documentation e.g. project proposals
- Control all aspects of project documentation utilising control methods/systems
- Management and coordination of project activity to include monitoring and tracking
- Submit high quality and accurate project status reports
- Work closely with stakeholders to manage project requirements and contribute to project review meetings
- Identify risk issues and ensure timely actions to mitigate, including escalating when necessary
- Commercial management of project activities e.g. resolving commercial/contract issues/budgeting
- To effectively engage and develop strong working relationships with project stakeholders
- Ad hoc duties as required to assist the project manager i.e. scheduling meetings

Essential Requirements:
- Experience of working within project management, ideally within a regulated environment
- Minimum of 2 years' experience of using MS Project, Excel and MS Office
- Demonstrable problem solving abilities
- Experience of identifying risk and risk mitigation
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; experience of liaising with Director level stakeholders
- Good commercial awareness regarding contracts and budgets
- Experience in implementing new processes and efficiencies
- Solid organisational skills and attention to detail
- Willingness to work out of hours (on occasion), if required
- Travel to UK based client sites (if required)

Desirable Requirements:
- Prince 2 or PMP knowledge would be advantageous
- Working knowledge of Agile, waterfall or Scrum methodologies
- Technical understanding of IT/Engineering projects would be ideal
