HGV Drivers Required
Our client is a UK-wide Logistics Company which offers an all-round distribution network. They connect businesses, industry and the freight forwarding industry. They operate a modern fleet, with an average age of just 4years.
They are growing. They’ve recently taken on new contracts and are investing on a journey to improve the quality of service offered to their customers. With your skills and knowledge, together they can be successful. They’d like to tell you a bit about them and their permanent, full time opportunities for Class 1 & 2 HGV drivers at their Manchester Depot.
You’ll be working a 5-day week on a 50hr contract where you will be based at Wythenshawe, Various day and night shifts available with regular overtime available in line with current driving regulations and the working time directive.
The role will be:
Mon – Friday 8.00am – 6.00pm flexible covering multi drop generally around the North-West area
Salary C1 - £23,250 PA
Salary C2 - £19,435
Mon – Fri 8.00pm – 6.00am flexible covering Airline collections & deliveries at Manchester Airport.
Salary C1 - £24,000 PA
If you have an FLT or ADR licence this would be an advantage but is not a set requirement for the role.
A CO Air Cargo Handling qualification is advantageous but training will be provided to the successful applicants.

A bit about you?
They are looking for drivers who are safe, enjoy a challenge, are professional in their approach and have great customer service skills. At times this can be a physical role, but equally rewarding so you’ll need to be hard working, fit and enthusiastic.
You’ll also possess:
• Held a Class 1 or 2 licence for a minimum of 2 years with no more than 6 penalty points
• An up to date DCPC and Driver card
• A good knowledge of the UK road network.
• Good Knowledge of EU Drivers Hours rules & RTD regulations
