Reporting to: Financial Controller
Location: Norwich

Role description:
We have proudly been delivering Management Systems into SME's for over 20 years, with the aim of 'making businesses better'. Our growth plans are ambitious so we require a self-starter to play a pivotal role in driving the Financial Reporting for the business. The newly created role will be extremely varied covering standard month end procedures, performance monitoring, statutory reporting along with the autonomy to analyse trends and make recommendations to senior management to help drive change. You will assist the FC and MD with operational projects and have exposure to the board members.
Responsibilities
- Full production of the monthly P&L, Cash Flow Statement and Balance Sheet identifying key variances
- Produce Cash Flow forecasts
- Produce weekly KPI reporting, investigate and highlight key trends and variances to targets
- Responsibility for the balance sheet review process
- Compile monthly Board Pack with commentary for review
- Produce forecasts and annual budgets
- Implement and manage cost centre reporting
- Parent company reporting requirements
- Assist with statutory audit process
- Ad-hoc analysis and operational projects
- Deputise for the FC when required
Skills
- You will be a self-starter and natural communicator who can use their own initiative:
Proactive ability to introduce new ideas, think differently and take an ever-increasing responsibility within the business to achieve business success.
- Part/fully qualified ACCA/CIMA
- Commercial background
- Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
