You will form part of a compassionate and caring team to provide support to vulnerable young adults in various settings. Your work will alter each week depending on the service requirements, therefore providing you with a job role of mass variety.

Our support workers must work to the best of their ability to promote service user’s independence. Offering individual care and support packages, staff are encouraged to place emphasis on individual needs.

 Supporting and empowering service users with mental health and other complex needs to live as independently as possible is a rewarding career. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will provide wide-ranging practical and emotional support.

As a support worker you will embrace everything from planning recreational and leisure activities to assisting with budgeting skills, food preparation, housekeeping and personal care. You will also liaise with GP’s, Social Workers and other Health and Social Care teams.

 Ability to demonstrate experience of working within a care setting is essential. A Diploma In Health and Social Care Level 2 qualification would be advantageous.
