Events Assistant

Relief Casual Events Staff, Lysaght, Newport

£7.61 per hour

An exciting opportunity has now arisen at Lysaght Newport. We are looking for a professional individual to join the team, this role is ideal for someone who likes working with the public and possesses a positive happy attitude.

Lysaght is an events centre that is becoming increasingly busier. We are now looking for events staff to join us and serve the array of celebrations and events that take place.

You will be organised by our conference host and will have a great opportunity to meet new people and be part of the guest’s special day.

You will be required to work evenings and weekends during our busy seasons to meet the demands on the service we provide.

You will receive full training and development for the role should you be successful. This role is currently a casual position.

Key Responsibilities:

•Excellent customer service skills

•Setting up rooms

•Servicing conferences and events

•Waiting on guests at weddings and special occasions

•Organising the kitchen after the events ) (including use of the dishwasher)

•Cleaning down after the function has taken place.
