This is an opportunity to join a market leading distributor of Electrical, Process & Mechanical equipment. They distribute products nationally & internationally serving all major industries including Construction, Oil & Gas, Mining, Utilities and Petrochemical.
A vacancy is currently available at their Chester-le-Street office as part of their expanding HV & LV Electrical Export Sales Department.
You would be joining a young, friendly, dynamic sales and marketing team.
Roles & Responsibilities
This is an office based, industrial sales role and involves responding to customer enquiries, preparing new quotations and liaising with suppliers through to the point of order. Using a CRM database you will, in time, be expected to develop sales opportunities with new and existing clients.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will ideally have the following skills & experience:
- Experience of working within a business-to-business sales environment
- Some knowledge of LV/HV electrical power products
- An excellent telephone manner
- Drive & desire to provide a high level of customer service
- Self starter
- Microsoft proficient
- Confident, enthusiastic and well presented
Product training will be provided.
Salary: £15k + negotiable depending on experience - performance bonuses available after successful completion of probationary period
