C# / VB.NET Developers / Senior Developers Swansea

The platform helps industries to reduce the time (and cost) to source, negotiate, ship and pay for products to minutes instead of days all without the need for external paperwork, lengthy phone calls, expensive travel, or time consuming research.

Companies main duties are: constantly required to develop new features as agreed with business, maintain the current applications, apply enhancements as qualified by business, and support the live applications. We are also looking at revamping our source code and database for better performance and ensure readiness to handle the company and user base growth. We are looking to do this with best practices and latest technology trends.
IT department is currently composed of a small team; we are looking to grow steadily by identifying top calibre individuals to join the team. This offers potential candidates growth opportunities as well as becoming an integral resource of exciting international projects.

Skills required:

Excellent skills in web development using C#, VB.net, ASP.net
Excellent working knowledge of T-SQL, SQL server 2008 and stored procedures
CSS, XML, JavaScript, Ajax and HTML
Database design and development using MS SQL Server.
OOP (Object Orientated Programming).
Effective communicator
Goal oriented with positive enthusiasm
Be efficient, professional and dependable
Keep up to date with the latest software development technologies
Drive consistent standards and approaches throughout the team

Preferable: -

Good working knowledge of IT infrastructure and able to assess, design and implement.
Client facing experience
University Graduate with a 2:1 degree or higher.
ASP.Net MVC / SSRS
TDD, team city, TFS
Good working experience with nTier architecture.
Good working experience in SOA (Service Orientated Architecture) applications.
Previous experience with integration projects VB/C#
