We are currently recruiting for a Tenancy Officer to join our Tenancy Team. The role will include all aspects of tenancy management including sing ups, estate inspections void control and allocation of properties and ASB.

BCHA are looking for a full time Tenancy Officer working within a fast paced, friendly environment based at BCHA Head Office. You will be responsible for all aspects of tenancy management including sign ups, estate inspections, property inspections, effective void control and ASB management. The ideal person will have strong housing management experience and some experience of working with mixed tenures. You will be advising people and resolving complex issues, so you need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Also the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines is a must for this role.

You will manage a patch of approximately 400 vulnerable tenants and leaseholders on behalf of BCHA across the South. A key responsibility of this role is to support people to sustain a tenancy and encourage and facilitate their independence, quality of life, safeguarding and health and well-being by providing practical advice, information and support on a wide range of issues including housing, welfare rights, hoarding, life skills and the promotion of personal independence.

A valid driving licence and use of a vehicle is required for this role.
