About the role
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and targeted digital communications and marketing, specifically social media and email.
You will manage email campaigns, using Salesforce CRM in conjunction with Adestra, and Jisc's social media presence on Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn.
You will be a digital champion, able to add real value across the business by driving our social media and direct mail to become more personal, responsive, joined-up and useful.
About you
In order to be successful, you will need to demonstrate that you have:
- Experience of creating and delivering digital communications strategies that contribute to wider communications and marketing strategies built around social media and email
- Demonstrable experience of using targeted social media and direct marketing for campaigns
- Experience of using a CRM system such as Salesforce for marketing purposes
- Well-developed analytical skills to extract, analyse, and interpret data in the process of improving and maximising the value of social media and email channels
- A good working knowledge of managing databases using Excel and/or Access, or within data-heavy tools such as CRM and email management software
- Enthusiasm for and up-to-date knowledge of latest trends in digital marketing and communications
- The ability to write clear, concise and engaging copy
- Experience of managing people, including delegating, supporting and motivating staff, and performance management.
