Courier Branch Manager - Chessington
Reporting to the General Manager South, the role of Branch Manager will be responsible for managing and commercially growing an entirely new courier office based in Chessington. The successful applicant will be experienced within the courier industry, be dedicated and hard-working with a desire to succeed, have excellent commercial acumen, good man-management and effective communication skills, plus be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and be process driven.
The successful applicant will be the main point of contact for a major new contract won by Rico in the Chessington area, so will be responsible for overseeing both the expected service and performance levels, whilst being able to develop the site commercially and maintain relationships with other Rico sites and customers alike.
Key responsibilities will include:
• To oversee and manage the running of the new Chessington courier site in its entirety.
• To promote and manage the commercial growth of the site.
• To ensure operational excellence, that service levels are kept at a premium and to maintain fleet levels.
• Assist in all site admin, documentation and application of processes and procedures.
• To ensure all internal and external communications and escalations are dealt with swiftly and accurately.
Salary: £24 - £26k PA,Commission,Bonus and Pension
