We are recruiting an Office Administrator for a busy HVAC company based in Stockton-On-Tees.
General Duties:
- Dealing with customer enquiries
- Raising quotations as required by the Project Manager/Director
- Updating quote register, following up on quotes sent
- Raising purchase orders and placing with approved suppliers
- Ordering office supplies and equipment as required
- Assisting with stock ordering
- General office support
- Maintaining approved suppliers
- Maintaining and administration of subcontractors
- General procurement including seeking competitive pricing and staying within job budgets
- Administration of installation works; acceptance of works, setting up and maintaining of job files, ordering equipment from approved suppliers, ensuring engineers have equipment, tools and paperwork for works to be undertaken.
- Liaising with customers
- Compiling and issuing handover packs to customers on completion of works
- Client feedback
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent communicator, both written and oral
- Professional telephone manner
- Ability to work under pressure
- Experience working in an office environment, preferably engineering
- Business administration qualifications/experience desirable
- GCSE's (C & above) in Maths and English
- Previous relevant experience
- Purchasing experience desirable
- Excellent IT skills, must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- High standard of literacy and numeracy
- Good customer service skills
