We are recruiting an Office Administrator for a busy HVAC company based in Stockton-On-Tees. 

General Duties:

  • Dealing with customer enquiries
  • Raising quotations as required by the Project Manager/Director
  • Updating quote register, following up on quotes sent
  • Raising purchase orders and placing with approved suppliers
  • Ordering office supplies and equipment as required
  • Assisting with stock ordering
  • General office support
  • Maintaining approved suppliers
  • Maintaining and administration of subcontractors
  • General procurement including seeking competitive pricing and staying within job budgets
  • Administration of installation works; acceptance of works, setting up and maintaining of job files, ordering equipment from approved suppliers, ensuring engineers have equipment, tools and paperwork for works to be undertaken. 
  • Liaising with customers
  • Compiling and issuing handover packs to customers on completion of works
  • Client feedback

Qualifications, Skills and Experience

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communicator, both written and oral
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Experience working in an office environment, preferably engineering
  • Business administration qualifications/experience desirable
  • GCSE's (C & above) in Maths and English
  • Previous relevant experience
  • Purchasing experience desirable
  • Excellent IT skills, must be proficient in Microsoft Office
  • High standard of literacy and numeracy
  • Good customer service skills
