German speaking Project Coordinator (native level)

A German speaking Project Coordinator (native level) is needed for our client, an ISO-certified language service provider with offices in the UK, Germany, USA and Bulgaria. With more than 95 in-house translators and project managers and over 150 employees worldwide, it provides translations for corporate clients. This is a diverse full-time position based in the Nottingham branch.

German speaking Project Coordinator (native level)

Your duties: You are the professional contact for the client's offices in Germany, USA and Bulgaria as well as for customers and suppliers in the UK. In this position you are responsible for organising and coordinating the smooth work flow for all types of translation projects to be distributed to internal and external translators. They range from small single-language orders from German into English to complex multilingual projects with various different formatting requirements within the UK Project Management Team. You will also need to cooperate closely with the in-house DTP teams to ensure quality and timing for all projects.

Your profile: This is an exciting opportunity for a good team player who copes well under pressure and enjoys working in an international and challenging environment. You ideally have previous experience in a similar role and like to work with numbers. You are familiar with all kinds of administrative and commercial duties. If you are also at home with Microsoft Office and have native level English and German skills, our client is looking forward to your application. Experience in Translation Memories (SDL Trados Studio or STAR Transit) would be an advantage but is not essential.
