Administrator (Block Property Management)
Due to expanding its block management and property portfolio, Matthew’s of Chester have created a new role for an experienced administration professional with a high level of attention to detail and excellent organisational skills, to join the service focused team based in Chester city centre.

Established for over 30 years, Matthew’s of Chester is a reputable family run and professionally accredited estate agents, specialising in property sales, lettings, houses of multiple occupancy (HMO’s) and property / block management. So, what will the role of Administrator entail?
Working as part of a busy office team within a fast paced environment, you will provide support to the Block Management and Finance Team undertaking a range of office support and finance administration tasks. Your duties will mainly involve;
- Issuing invoices, processing payments, and chasing arrears
- Ensuring email and postal correspondence is filed appropriately
- Archiving and managing documents
- Ensuring phones are answered in a timely manner and dealt with in an efficient manner
- Logging property maintenance issues
- Scheduling diary events for maintenance
- Issuing communications relating to the arrangement of meetings, booking venues etc.
What will I need to be considered for this Administrator role?
- Proven experience within office administration in a busy environment, preferably with experience of raising invoices, processing payments and chasing outstanding debt
- Team player with the ability to work unsupervised using own initiative
- Excellent telephone and written communication skills
- A resilient, proactive, and “can do” approach to work
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks
- High level of attention to detail, with timely and accurate typing and data entry skills
- IT literacy with good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Experience gained within property management or finance administration is advantageous, although not essential.

Salary: up to £16,000, level dependent on experience
Additional Benefits: 22 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Contracted Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:30pm. Flexibility will be required to meet business needs.
