Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum dependent on experience plus bonus

Location: Barnsley, South Yorkshire

 

Overview:

Our client is an innovative and award winning natural health company based in Barnsley. They currently distribute throughout the UK and export to 30 countries worldwide.

Due to continued growth and potential within their world-wide export market they are now looking to recruit an experienced Export Sales Executive to actively grow and develop new and existing markets. If you have export sales experience with knowledge of prospecting into new markets, this is an exciting opportunity to join a vibrant, young team.

Main Duties:

Reporting to the Export Sales Manager, the purpose of this role is to work in line with the export strategy and develop new business opportunities for the company, duties include but will not be limited to:

  • Respond and assess the potential of international distributors who contact us.
  • Assess new markets to establish the greatest potential for our brand, taking into consideration market size, saturation and awareness.
  • Assess any legal requirements and regulatory requirements in terms of product registration and licenses.
  • Understand potential client demands and work with internal technical, finance and commercial teams to develop a seamless sales offering.
  • Work in line with the export strategy, including new and existing business sales targets.
  • Satisfy internal reporting requirements by submitting reports and records to ensure that all sales activities are carried out within the agreed budgets, volume, sales and within the given time scales.
  • Some international travel may be required at times.

 

The successful candidate will:

 

  • International sales experience
  • Enjoy seeking out and developing business opportunities
  • Have proven account management skills
  • Have experience of managing budgets
  • Be comfortable with sales analysis and reporting at senior level
  • Have excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Be results orientated and target driven.
  • Commercial sales experience within the FMCG industry.
