Salary: £15,000 for a year's placement

They are looking for a motivated and talented PR professional to join their busy Public Relations Team.

They deliver over 80 different services to more than 100,000 people in one of the most beautiful parts of the UK.

You will play a key role working with both staff and councillors to get their message across on a local, regional and national level. This will involve creating media campaigns, working with the media, improving internal communications, managing their social media channels and producing their magazine 'initiatives'.

An excellent writer with a flair for creative media campaigning, you'll have a good understanding of how to maximise media opportunities. You will also be a strong team player who is great at building relationships with staff, the media, partner organisations and councillors.

Their current intern has worked on some high profile projects this year, including their museum's Tim Peake exhibition; a recycling campaign; and the uncovering of Roman remains, to name just a few.

To apply you must be studying a PR, Journalism or Marketing related degree.

Previous interns working with the team have gone on to achieve fantastic careers, with many now in managerial positions across the country. They are an incredibly supportive team that can provide you with fantastic experience and opportunities to help you pave your career within the PR industry.

This full time role (37 hours a week) will last for your year's placement.

The new Intern will ideally start their placement at the end of August.
