RECEPTIONIST – Part Time

Our team in Hatfield are looking for two part time Receptionists to join their existing team and create a friendly and welcoming environment for their clients.  We put pets first and if you’d like to work in an environment where animal wellbeing is at the heart of everything you do, then we want to hear from you.    

You’ll find us inside Pets at Home on the Oldings Corner Retail Park where there is plenty of onsite parking.  Our practice is bright, spacious, air-conditioned and purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment including digital X-ray and in-house laboratory facilities.  Our team is dedicated to providing world class clinical care and is passionate about customer care, patient wellbeing and preventative care. 

The role of Receptionist involves meeting and greeting clients and being sensitive to their needs, managing appointments and registering new clients, dealing with client queries, processing payments and communicating confidently with customers.

Person Specification

Annette, our Partner and Vet is looking for warm, friendly and polite individuals with a client centred focus.  You will be a strong team player with excellent communication skills and take pride in the service you deliver.  As this is a busy role within a busy environment, the successful candidate must be able to work well under pressure and be adept at multi-tasking.  Previous experience in the same/similar role is advantageous and you must be computer literate. 

These are part time roles working 20 hours per week, with a 1 in 2 weekend rotation.  Our practice is open between the hours of 9am – 7pm Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm on Saturday and Sunday 10am – 3.30pm; your working hours will be scheduled within these time and we are looking for candidates to be flexible.
