Our client is one of the largest suppliers of building materials in the UK with some of the most recognisable and renowned brands in the industry including London Brick and Thermalite. They employ around 1600 people at sites across the UK. They manufacture a wide range of products, including Bricks, Blocks, Paving and Precast Concrete as well as other more specialist products.

Whilst completing their Graduate Programme and on the job training, you will gain an understanding of Management and key Operations which will enable the continuity and productivity of the plants. You will provide direction of site manufacturing activities and play an active part in the development of business plans, the design and delivery of key processes and fulfilling the strategic objectives of the operational areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual at graduate level looking to start a career in the building materials / construction industry. The ideal candidate will hold a 2:1 degree in Business Management, Engineering, Manufacturing or Electrical / Mechanical Engineering and be pro-active, taking accountability for any projects and tasks assigned. You’ll need to possess good interpersonal skills, strong presentation skills and demonstrate the ability to communicate with staff at all levels. You will also need to hold a full clean driving licence and be flexible to travel to various sites across the UK.
