Purpose and objectives

The role of the Sales Support Executive is to provide administrative support to the UK Sales Team.

This is an office based role where you will manage and allocate incoming enquiries to the Sales Heads in the Relevant Sectors.

You will also provide day to day support to the New Business Development Managers, and Account Managers, including estimates & pricing proposals, overseas and UK postage pricing breakdowns, sending out literature, obtaining job costings and liaising with all departments within the company.

Responsibilities also include answering calls and helping process enquiries and estimates.

The Person
The person will have experience within an administrative supporting role, preferably in a sales environment and will possess excellent telephone communication skills together with strong written communication and a high level of numeracy.

With strong organisational skills and the ability to multi task and work under pressure candidates must be a team player with a supportive nature and the ability to demonstrate good customer service skills with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities
- To support the Sales team to win new blue-chip clients, and help achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- To support the Business Development Managers, and Account Managers on a day to day basis
- To manage and allocate incoming sales leads and enquiries to The Sales Heads of in the relevant sectors
- To prepare and issue accurate and timely quotations and documentation on behalf of New Business Development Managers and also in direct requests from customers, ensuring sales personnel are informed in a timely manner
- To provide estimates and documentation for incoming enquiries in line with the incoming enquiries procedure
- Ensure new business gained is in-line with the required "mix of business" and the required level of profitability
- Always consider profitability in accordance with cost base minimum margins and assess suitability of work/projects in accordance with production schedules and expertise
