Machine Operatives (Permanent Roles) - Bridgwater - up to GBP11.45 p/h plus Overtime
My Client is looking to recruit up to six experienced Machine Operators to work in their factory in Bridgwater. On offer are a number of continental 12 hour shift patterns which hopefully will be able to suit your individual requirements. As an experienced Machine Operator the successful applicant will have previously worked in a fast paced (FMCG) environment and be used to dealing with the running of high volume manufacturing machines. You will be working as part of a team of four/ five and will be 'driving' the machine output. Reporting to the Team Leader, this role is primarily responsible for the accurate setting up and running of an industrial production machine, maintaining a clean and tidy work environment, undertaking ancillary tasks when requested. My client very much wants to upskill its staff and the successful candidates will join the company 'academy' scheme which offers excellent training.
Machine Operative Role and Responsibilities
??Participating in all aspects of running high volume performance machines.
??Preparing the appropriate machine ready for production
??Cleaning the machines between production runs
??Monitoring production to eliminate or reduce waste and down time.
??Accurately recording production data for use throughout the business, using the Company's in-house Computer system
??Weighing, measuring and labelling finished products and locating accurately to storage points
??Work closely with the Engineering team on maintenance projects and repairs.
??Participating in cost saving and process improvements project in order to improve quality standards, safety and output
??Participate in training events to maintain skills and increase knowledge
??Maintain health & Safety for self and others at all times
Benefits will include : Free Parking, Canteen facilities, pension, childcare voucher system, cycle to work scheme. The rates of pay vary from GBP9.18p/h to GBP11.45 depending on which shift pattern you are working
