RW Simon Ltd is a progressive and expanding manufacturer of ventilation products and aluminium extrusions.
We are looking to recruit a shop floor operator for the assembly of trickle ventilators in accordance with RW Simons procedures, manufacturing instructions, specifications and customer requirements, working in a small cell ensuring all delivery requirements are met, reporting directly to the production manager. Hours are 8am - 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
Assembly - You will be working on the production line assembling various products ranging in size and weight to set daily targets.
Packing - You will be packing products before despatch, carrying out visual quality checks, and ensuring paperwork is completed.
Experience and Skills
A literacy and numeracy test will be undertaken at interview stage.
Good IT skills would be an advantage
You will ideally have experience in a production/manufacturing environment
Be able to work to targets in a fast paced environment
Be dexterous in work carried out
Ideally experienced in drills and pneumatic machinery
Work well off own initiative
Fork lift license would be advantageous
