The Role
Reporting directly into the Director of Credit Risk and Analytics, the purpose of this role is to create and maintain credit risk systems, environments and governance which allow the bank to achieve sustainable long-term growth.
Key accountabilities:
* Create and maintain credit risk systems, environments and governance which allow the bank to achieve a long term sustainable growth.
* Manage the credit risk of consumer lending portfolios.
* Report on the performance on all portfolio and propose and implement corrective action where necessary.
* Create systems which will support a smooth customer experience.
* Attend to every detail and ensure that all reporting, analysis and data are 100% correct.
* Create an environment that allows people to develop.
Candidate Specification:
* Knowledge of key risk KPIs and experience reporting to executive and board level
* Has considerable experience in varied roles across the credit risk life cycle, in roles including analysis, reporting and credit management.
* Knowledge on decision systems and how to implement a strategy.
* Proven managerial skills.
* Degree in maths/physics/economics minimum 2.1 - M.Sc. desirable.
* SAS, SQL, Excel, TRIAD, FICO Blaze.
