Interim Director of Finance Operations

Management Resources are looking to engage with a senior interim professional to provide Interim Finance Director level support to a Global services organisation in Bristol.

You shall lead a high performing team of finance experts to support the business to meet challenging revenue, profit and cash generation growth targets through creation of a strong control framework and governance arrangements.

You will be working closely with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure the business remains on track, meets the financial targets and delivers Group and external reporting requirements.

You will be required to deliver a high performing operational finance function with robust and efficient standard processes that are transparent.

You shall;

Work with the Senior Leadership Team to support delivery of annual revenue, profit, working capital and cash generation targets.

Continuously review and develop process and procedures to improve reporting and internal controls.

Ensure all financial data is timely, reliable and accurate.

Manage Hyperion business unit and GL reporting structure.

Agree the balance sheet policies, manage the balance sheet whilst ensuring continuous and robust balance sheet review.

Manage the internal control environment including review of risk registers, internal control sign offs and other signs off as required by Internal Audit.

Oversee production of statutory accounts and group financial reporting requirements in line with agreed internal and external deadlines.

Manage the relationship with external and internal audit.

Demonstrate leadership by ensuring that team members are appraised and developed as expected by company process.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications Required;

Commercially astute, with at least 10 years' post qualification experience of working in a senior role.

Member of a recognised accountancy professional body (preferably ACA, CIMA or ACCA).

Good communication skills.

Advanced Excel skills and SAP experience is of paramount importance.

Experience of working in a large FTSE organisation.

Excellent oral, written and presentation skills.

SAP, Hyperion system and strong understanding of other systems.

The rate will be circa GBP500 per day.

The start date is ASAP.
