Retail Security Officer- Newcastle upon Tyne

The Role

A Retail Security Officer opportunity has arisen to work for a fast paced company in a period of exciting change and growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a responsible candidate to further their career whilst working for one of the top UK Facilities Management Companies. The opportunity is based within one of the biggest high street food retailers, ensuring the safety and security of client's property along with employees whilst maintaining a presence on site.

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Hourly Rate: £7.50

Hours per week: Full-time; Monday to Saturday 8 hrs shift between 2pm and 10pm -Sunday 6 hour shift from 10am-4pm - Flexibility with shifts needed

Job Description Overview:

• To provide an efficient and effective Security Service, ensuring high standards are delivered and maintained.
• Duties include regular patrols to support the prevention of stockloss
• Supporting the store management team, to ensure the safety and security of customers and employees on site
• The candidate must perform the role within Health and Safety regulations and be responsible for own health and safety as well as colleagues.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

• SIA License essential
• Experience of security provision desirable
• High levels of professional Integrity
• Flexible approach to shift pattern required
