Job Title: Mobile/Maintenance Technician / Plant Maintenance

Location: St Albans

Salary: Competitive

Working Hours: 45 per week, plus some overtime as and when required.

Our Client is a leading integrated service provider of bespoke recycling solutions.

Job Role:

Assisting the Maintenance Department in all necessary repairs for all plant, MHE and access equipment.

Routine Tasks:

• Carry out fault diagnosis and repair of plant equipment at PRG site and customer site
• Maintaining plant equipment to ensure they are clean and safe at PRG site and customer site.
• Ensure servicing schedules are followed in accordance with the manufacturers specifications
• Carry out routine safety inspections on all core plant and customer equipment.
• Mechanical support to all plant, vehicles, trucks and equipment

The Candidate:

• To have completed and passed an approved apprenticeship or attained an NVQ level 3 in an appropriate discipline.
• Have working knowledge of, and effectively use workshop manuals and computer diagnostic equipment to diagnose fault repairs.
• Full driving Licence to include C+E
• Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
• Must have a flexible approach
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Electrical experience
• Welder / Fabricator
• Excellent customer skills
• Field Service Engineer experience
