Community Cafe Assistant - Environmental Charity
This is an exciting opportunity to work in a friendly community café providing a comfortable and welcoming meeting place for customers to enjoy good quality, healthy and affordable refreshments and shared activities throughout the year.
Role: Community Café Assistant
Salary: £7.70 per hour
Hours: 15-20 hours per week Mon - Fri
Contract: Fixed term until July 2018
Operational Area: Hampshire & Dorset
Location: Eastleigh, Hampshire
The role involves working in the café with the preparation of sandwiches and simple lunches, ordering supplies and most importantly delivering excellent customer service. All tasks in this café environment are included such as clearing tables, keeping the kitchen clean and maintaining accurate food safety records.
You will have experience of working in a café, understand the importance of customer service and also understand the need to have a focus on food safety. The role will involve working as part of a team, some of whom are volunteers and supporting other community events which happen on site.
