Application Support Engineer - Leeds SCADA / WINCC / PLC / SQL / VB SCRIPT Greywood Associates are delighted to be working in association with a market leading software house that provide software solutions to major blue chip clients, who urgently require an Applications Support Engineer to join their rapidly expanding team. Working from the Leeds office this role involves travel to their customers based mainly between Sheffield, Sunderland, Leeds & Skipton where you will be responsible for debugging & maintenance of solutions supplied to their customers. The systems being deployed are based on traditional SCADA systems & also requires inclusion into a 24x7 on call rota to support customer requirements. Key Skills Understanding of networks from a firewall / VLANs Set up & commissioning of hardware & software based solutions Knowledge of SCADA (WINCC) applications and the ability to install and modify or add graphical screens data points or simple animation Some knowledge of SQL Databases (in relation to SCADA systems). Understanding of PLC systems and some knowledge in their operation communications and data structures OPC server setup or configuration to ensure data rates and connectivity.
