Our client is a global leader in the development and production of printing inks, pigments and coatings, supplying to the packaging, publication, electronics, digital printing and automotive industries. They are looking to recruit two Graduate Ink Technologists, one for each of their Offset & Coatings and Screen & Industrial teams.
As a Graduate Ink Technician, you will be involved in the development of new products to meet future market needs and the maintenance of existing ones.
Requirements:
As a Graduate Ink Technician, you will be involved in a range of projects within your team and will be responsible for managing your time to meet deadlines, accurate and thorough record keeping and providing timely updates on their progression. Role:
Day to day duties include (but are not limited to):
* Involvement in feasibility testing and set up of new projects
* Ensuring that the project maintains focus on its objectives
* Delivering work to the timetable agreed
* Documenting work in a concise and clear way, ensuring that its progress is easily traceable and in keeping with company quality systems

Experience Required:
* Educated to a degree level in a relevant scientific discipline
* Previous laboratory experience an advantage
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Computer literate

* Confident in face to face communication with colleagues, suppliers and customers
* Ability to work on multiple tasks without losing focus
* Team orientated
* Strong attention to detail
