Location: Blackburn (with some EU & International travel)

Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 dependent on experience

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented and ambitious individual to join one of the fastest growing brands within its sector.

The company is a leading branded and own label pet food manufacturer based in Blackburn. Manufacturing and distributing brands such as; Webbox, Davies, Goodwyns, Oceanic, TastyBone, and Vitakraft through all the major UK grocery channels and also specialist pet trade channels.

As part of the continued development and growth of the marketing department, they are now looking to appoint a Product Marketing Manager, reporting directly to the Head of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

As Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for the outbound marketing activities for your products. You will craft the messaging and positioning for products. You'll conceive and develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial.

In your role as a Product Manager you will develop new products in line with market trends and customer demand working closely alongside the production and technical NPD teams. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to build enduring relationships and be responsible for delivering profitability targets for many aspects of the company's hugely successful retail portfolio.

The role is generally office based with occasional travel to consumer shows/exhibitions as and when required.
