Business Support/Office Manager

Salary: circa £24k, plus benefits

Reporting to the Chief Executive, you will provide a comprehensive administration and support service to the organisation. You will be responsible for general office management tasks including but not limited to:

  • overseeing contracts with facilities management vendors, including cleaning, security services, photocopies, mobile phone are managed and negotiated
  • budget management
  • Implementing and streamlining office & administration processes & procedures
  • Office Health and Safety management and associated procedures, along with   arranging for necessary repairs.
  • organising in-house or off-site activities, like meetings, parties, celebrations and conferences are planned including the provision of refreshments where required.
  • HR Administration including assisting in the on-boarding process for new staff and arranging training
  • Proficient minute taker with the experience or ability to take Board minutes.
  • That Board and other meetings are scheduled, take meeting minutes, prepare and distribute agenda, and meeting materials
  • That backup coverage is provided for other Administrative roles as needed

You will need to have proven office management experience including knowledge office systems, processes, relevant software and hardware, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office, the ability to multi-task and prioritise work, strong organisational and planning skills.
