More about the role as our Management Accountant

We are currently looking to appoint a fully qualified Management Accountant to be based in our Leeds Head Office at Horsforth, reporting into the Group Financial Controller. The key focus of the role will be to provide management, consultation and accounting support for the allocated business unit, as well as the delivery of accurate, timely and auditable financial reporting and information.

Key responsibilities as our Management Accountant:

- Production of budgeting and forecasting in line with timetables for appropriate business unit

- Ensuring necessary financial controls are in place for appropriate business unit

- Production of annual statutory company accounts

- Management of Activity Based Costing model

- Maintenance and control of budget timetables

- Consultancy and advising of financial information into appropriate business unit

- Production of financial information and reporting

- Annual budget and financial reporting

- Financial representation of company-wide projects

- Ensuring ongoing professional development and competence requirements are met

You will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience as our Management Accountant:

- Previous management accounting experience in a Financial services environment

- Proven track record of management accounting and reporting

- Knowledge of FCA regulatory rules

- CGMA or ACCA qualified

- Innovative approach to tasks and processes; with the ability to refine and streamline processes

- Ability to demonstrate excellent analytical and processing skills

- Intermediate to advanced excel skills are required e.g. vlook up, pivot tables etc

- IT literate across Microsoft suite of products including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
