We currently have an opportunity for a Roofer to join our team based in Cambridgeshire, undertaking all type of roof repairs and renewals to pitched and flat roof’s along with associated repairs and renewals to adjacent brickwork and renewal and/or repair to guttering and down-pipes.

As a Roofer, you will take information from job outline tickets and complete Roof inspections whilst recording/documenting findings and offering appropriate solutions. You will also erect, use and dismantle access equipment and will be responsible for component preparation and installation whilst assembling boiler equipment.

In addition, you will also fix and prepare individual tiles and slates alongside pointing ridge and hip tiles. Furthermore, you will supply tenant’s whist customer response forms whilst adhering to general Health and Safety requirements.

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you have experience of working in social or private housing, and will ideally hold a City and Guilds and/or CSCS.

You should also be able to use the following equipment; Electric and portable power tools, guillotine, electrical transformers, gas torches, boilers and burners and fire extinguishers.

An effective communicator, you will possess the ability to work on your own or as part of a team with the ability to build strong working relationships with council inspectors. A strong customer focus is important and you will be able to deal with tenant’s in a professional, friendly and courteous manner whilst effectively managing your own personal work. Above all, we are looking for an individual who is motivated and willing to work to a high standard of quality and efficiency.
