CNC Lathe Setter/Operator,
A great opportunity for a CNC Lathe Setter / Operator to join a respected engineering business based in Frome; Brewis Engineering Ltd. The company specialise in equipment for the Trenchless Technology industry.
The CNC Lathe Setter/Operator will need to be fully skilled in CNC Lathes, with a minimum of 5 years experience and able to use Fanuc control systems.
Most of the work is one off and small batch work ranging in size upto 710mm diameter.
The successful person will have a background in Engineering and be familiar with working/following CAD drawings, working within tolerances and capable of taking on assembly and fitting work. Alongside this, they will need to be adaptable, enthusiastic, self-motivated and willing to learn new skills.
Requirements:-
A strong background in machining, setting and operating CNC lathes. Background in working on Fanuc control systems. Able to work with limited supervision. Programming an advantage, not necessary as training would be provided. Enthusiastic and willingness to learn new skills.
40 hour week over 5 days Company pension scheme.
Salary dependant on experience.
