Engine Maintenance Technician - Renewable Energy
GBP30,000 - GBP34,000 plus benefits
South West - Field Based
We are currently seeking to recruit an Engine Technician / Engine Maintenance Technician / Field Service Engineer, to carry out routine & planned maintenance on a range of Landfill Gas Engines / Anaerobic Digestion plants across the UK. Our client is a leading organisation within the renewable energy sector, with the opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join their team.
As an Engine Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for:
* Routine & planned maintenance (PPM) and overhauls on engines on Landfill Gas & Anaerobic Digestion sites
* Working as part of a team of Engineers, ensuring safe & efficient operation of the generating plant
* Ensuring health & safety is adhered to at all times
* Ensuring the repair/rebuild isn't compromised and is executed on time without disruption to other site activities
* Other duties as required
To be considered for this position, you must have a relevant Electrical / Mechanical Engineering qualification (Apprenticeship/HNC/HND, etc.). You should have experience carrying out maintenance on large reciprocating engines (Caterpillar, Perkins, Deutz, Jenbacher, Wartsila, or similar) and working on large process equipment (pumps, motors, etc.).
This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a large competitor within the Renewable Energy sector. This is a field based position covering a number of sites across the UK, therefore a full UK driving licence is essential.
The package on offer for this role includes a salary in the range of GBP30,000 - GBP34,000 depending on experience, plus company benefits including pension & holidays.
