Receptionist – Full Time

We are a small animal practice in Dover and are looking for a friendly, down to earth Receptionist to join our team and create a welcoming environment for our clients and patients. 

Located on the White Cliffs Retail Park inside Pets at Home, you’ll find lots of onsite parking.  Our practice is well furnished with all of the modern, necessary equipment at our disposal including digital x-ray, ultrasound, haematology, dentistry and we have an isolation unit.

Carl and Cormac, our Partners and Vets leads a team of 2 Nurses, a Veterinary Care Assistant and 2 Receptionists;  we are a friendly team and share a common interest of animal wellbeing, preventative healthcare and client care

Person Specification

We are looking for a client focussed, confident and organised individual who works well within a team.  You will have strong communication skills, the ability to multi task and work well under pressure.  You’ll be an individual who strives to deliver a brilliant service for our clients and animals, every single time.  Successful candidates will possess previous reception and/or customer service experience.

Responsibilities of the role include meeting and greeting clients, booking appointments, dealing with any queries, taking payments and communicating confidently with customers. As this is a busy and demanding role you must be computer literate and able to cope well under pressure. 

The role is full time working 40 hours per week and will include working weekends on a 1:2 rotation.
