Due to continued growth, we have an immediate vacancy for a TEMPORARY/LONG TERM ASSIGNMENT – LIMITED COMPANY - LGV ADR Drivers (CLASS 1 & 2) – Days and Nights Shifts available (fixed days or nights) to work from our prestigious depot in Oldbury, West Midlands.

You will be working with goods on a Shunting, multi drop or trunk run, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of the goods, as well as overseeing the loading and unloading of the vehicle to ensure goods are in perfect condition and secured correctly to avoid damage. You would also be responsible for maintaining the condition of your vehicle, making sure it is presentable and in good condition as both you and your vehicle act as the face of our company.

The Package
• LGV CAT C+E Driver (CLASS 1) - Day Shift - £13.00 PER HOUR + OVERTIME 
• LGV CAT C+E Driver (CLASS 1) - Night Shift - £13.50 PER HOUR + OVERTIME
• Occasional Saturday work upon request.
• Weekly pay (every Friday)
• Long term bookings available
• Ongoing training, rrefreshing your CPC & ADR when needed and possible upskilling to managers CPC through our apprenticeship scheme.

You must hold:
• Valid in date UK Class 1 Licence
• CPC Card 
• Digi Card
• A valid and in date ADR Licence (packages)
• Limited Company
• Certificate of Incorporation.
• Business Bank Account
• VAT Number (if applicable) 
• WE DO NOT ACCEPT CANDIDIATES BEING PAID THROUGH UMBERELLA COMPANIES

The ideal candidate must:
• Can do attitude.
• Flexible approach to work.
• Occasional Saturday work upon request.
• Fantastic Health & Safety standards.
• Multi-drop experience.
• Excellent verbal and written English and Numeracy.
• A good customer facing and communicational skills.
• IT literate as you use an in-cab PDA.
• Excellent time-keeping skills.
• Ability to fill out essential paperwork efficiently and correctly.
• Attend any essential training required to help you fulfil your role.
• Forklift experience (preferred, but not essential)

THIS IS A FULL-TIME OR TEMPORARY POSITION – NOT THROUGH AN AGENCY

Applicants must have a valid CPC card, digi card and ideally at least 2 years driving experience on Class 1 or 2 vehicles (6 months on UK roads). New passes will be considered for this role depending on experience and passing a driving assessment.

No more than 6 points. Applicants with DR, DD and IN offences will not be considered for this role.
