Due to expansion, several new roles have been created nationwide to join the highly-experienced team as a regional Land Buyer / Manager.
Who will I be working with?
Gladman Land is the UK’s most successful land promoter, and is part of the respected Gladman Group which has been thriving in the development industry for over 30 years. With offices in Cheshire, the North East and Scotland, the business acquires sites nationwide and a significant number of these are contracted and sold within a 2-year period.

What will the role of Land Buyer / Manager entail?
You will identify and acquire new land opportunities within a specific geographic area, managing the process fully from preparation and progression of offers through to negotiation and completion.
Your success will come from building and developing strong relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external; including land owners, agents, consultants and legal advisers.
What will I need to be considered?
- Experience in either the house building (immediate land or strategic land) or the land consultancy sector
- Superb interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong professional relationships
- Results driven and self-motivated with a proactive approach to work
- Ability to work effectively using own initiative, with minimal supervision
- Strong IT skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Smart professional appearance
- Full UK driving licence
What will I receive in return?

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000, level dependent on experience. Plus attractive performance related bonus scheme paying up to 40% of your salary.
Attractive Benefits: Company car or car allowance, ability to work a 9-day fortnight, 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays, 5% employer pension contributions, private healthcare, Wellness programme, and a wide variety of social events.
Hours: Working compressed hours over a 9 day fortnight, with flexible start and finish times around the core hours.
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Working from home and in the field acquiring new land opportunities within your allocated geographical region. You will be required to attend meetings at the head office in Congleton (Cheshire) 3 days per fortnight.
