Installation Electrician

This business is one of the UK's leading sustainable building materials and construction solutions businesses, employing over 6000 people in the UK. A rare opportunity has arisen within the Electrical Engineering Services Department based at Tunstead Quarry, Buxton, as an Installation Electrician.

Working as a conscientious and flexible member of a team of employees and external contractors, the successful candidate will need to be able to deliver safe, effective and efficient heavy industrial and commercial low voltage electrical installation works including; power distribution, automated process power, control & instrumentation, office facilities and data/communication networks throughout the Lime and Powders Tunstead and Hindlow sites.

Qualifications / Experience Required:

- Electrical engineering discipline to a minimum of NVQ L3 Diploma or equivalent.
- Time Served Trade Apprenticeship to a minimum of Level 3 or equivalent.
- BS7671 Electrical Regulations.
- 2 Years Electrical maintenance / installation experience in a quarrying or heavy industrial material handling environment.
- Full UK Driving License.
- C&G2394/5 Electrical Testing and Inspection. (Desirable).
- CompEx Certified. (Desirable).
