We are currently recruiting for exceptional female Security Officers to deliver excellent levels of customer service whilst maintaining the security and safety of people and property at our clients' site.

The successful candidate will provide a rigorous yet welcoming gatehouse security presence at the clients' site, in addition to supporting with operational issues. As a Security Officer, you will operate the access and egress function, building relationships with staff, delivery drivers and visitors and guests. You will conduct both internal and external patrols, respond to any site alarms and / or investigate disturbances. There will be a requirement to undertake passive CCTV monitoring to support site loss prevention.

As part of this role you will be required to undertake comprehensive searching duties of lockers, vehicles and personnel, as required.

We are looking for confident, reliable and flexible security professionals who are capable of building good relationships with visitors and clients alike. You will need to have excellent communication skills, high levels of attention to detail and should take ownership of tasks, seeing things through to completion and ensuring issues are resolved in an effective and satisfactory manner. You will have high levels of integrity and will go about your day-to-day duties with efficiency and professionalism.

Primary duties will include:

• To maintain comprehensive knowledge of the operation of the site

• Providing an efficient and effective Security Service for our client, ensuring high standards are delivered and maintained
• Control of egress & access points to both site & building by all pedestrians and vehicles
• Undertaking regular site patrols, maintaining logs, visitor procedures and incident reports
• Effective monitoring of visitors and personnel on site and assisting to maintain high levels of site security
• Understanding of and adherence to Health and Safety regulations with responsibility for the Health & Safety welfare of colleagues alongside their own; reporting violations where necessary
• Conduct, personnel, locker and vehicle searches as required

• Work with the Emergency Services if called upon to do so

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following skills, experience and behaviours:

• A full frontline SIA License is essential
• 1st Aid Certificate is highly desirable. Candidates who do not have accredited First Aid training may be required to complete a First Aid course
• Comprehensive knowledge of Health& Safety practices and procedures
• Experience in using CCTV systems for loss prevention purposes – You will possess excellent attention to detail
• Flexibility to works across shifts patterns which may include days, night shifts and weekend working
• Experience in a customer-facing role with strong interpersonal skills
• Outstanding communication skills – both written and oral
• Exceptional levels of integrity and professionalism
• For this role, we require a female officer due to personnel search requirements

Our on-site security team deliver outstanding security services to our client, 24 hours per day, across 7 days per week. The hours are offered on a shift basis of 4 days, 4 off; 4 nights, 4 off. Days shifts are 07:00-19:00; Nights shifts are 19:00-07:00. There is no flexibility to amend the shift pattern so it is essential that applicants can commit to this working pattern.
