The company is comprised of the twelve local authorities and three Local Enterprise Partnerships working together to move powers from Whitehall to the West Midlands and our locally elected politicians, who know this region best. Individual councils will still deliver services and retain their identity but on the big decisions we will have the resources to work together.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Cyber Security Specialist to become part of the company’s friendly ICT team. The post-holder will be required to focus on ensuring the information security of the company and its staff. To be responsible for day-to-day information assurance, ICT security and cyber intrusion activities, ensuring confidentiality, integrity and availability of the company infrastructure to agreed service standards. Support and work closely with ICT, business continuity, senior management and external partners to provide ICT security design consultancy, expertise and assurance to the company projects and programmes in addition to business as usual. A flexible and adaptable attitude to tasks and activities is required as well as a strong interest in cyber security.
