• Salary: £21,556 - £23,742 per annum (pro rata)

KEY is committed to developing high quality, flexible support services which support people who have a wide variety of needs to enjoy life to the full, as active citizens within their communities.

Due to the ongoing growth and development of our services in and around Dumfries, we are seeking a highly motivated, confident and enthusiastic Team Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be involved in providing direct support and front line management of services to individuals with a variety of complex support needs including those who have learning and physical disabilities and young people in transition.

Alongside direct support to supported people, the main responsibilities of the Team Leader position include helping to plan, co-ordinate and monitor services to a number of people within the larger service and to support, supervise and manage workers providing the support service to these people. Team Leaders are also expected to take responsibility for the management of their service as required and in the absence of other Managers.

The successful candidate will be able to work creatively and flexibly to provide positive leadership and support to their teams, enabling them to deliver high quality person centred support.

Evening, weekend work and overnight responsibilities are required. The successful candidate must be prepared to be “on-call” out with normal working hours.
