Warehouse Operative

37.5 hr per week 8.45am - 5pm Mon-Thu, Friday 9am - 4pm @ £7.70/hr - Burnley/Nelson area

£15,015 per Annum (£7.70 per hour)

A small but fast growing pharmaceutical & sports supplement distribution company are looking for a warehouse operative to join their growing e-commerce business. They specialise in the supply of nutritional supplements, sports supplements, pharmaceutical excipients, consumables and equipment.

They are looking for a hardworking, reliable and professional person to become an integral part of the business with the opportunity of progression.

The main responsibilities of the position will include
- Manufacturing of stock
- Picking and packing orders
- Assisting with the incoming and outgoing of goods
- Maintaining quality standards within the warehouse
- Cleaning of Manufacturing Equipment
- Assisting with the operation of packaging machinery

The position will require you to work alongside the warehouse manager and the rest of the team so a good level of English language is essential. The post requires you to be able to use your own initiative to complete work in line with business needs and objectives. You will need to exhibit good communication skills, basic literacy, numeracy skills and time management skills.

Training will be provided on the job and a personal development plan will be provided to allow for career progression for the appropriate candidate.

GCSE's or equivalent including English, Science and Maths, or equivalent levels of skill is essential. Previous experience of warehouses is also essential.
