Overall Purpose

  • To administer and manage commercial reporting, adhering to specific contract requirements.
  • To manage ad hoc commercial reporting/analysis requirements.
  • To support the Commercial Manager in Commercial projects and initiatives.
  • To provide commercial support and guidance to Operations teams where necessary, to resolve operational queries/issues.
  • To work within the Commercial team to deliver enhanced visibility of business activities, identifying areas for potential improvement.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • To manage the historical data baseline process for new and existing clients
  • To deliver system generated MI and work with operational teams where necessary to position in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • To manage the savings process using various excel based savings tools (exact/near/non-match processes).
  • To advise on improvements required by market to ensure contractual commitments are met in respect of savings and other contractual KPIs.
  • To own the ad hoc reporting needs where necessary and feed agreed scope and requirements into Commercial Analyst.
  • To understand the commercial agreements and agreed related processes on relevant key client accounts and provide support to the relevant local management structures for these as required.
  • To provide on-going support, resolution and guidance on operational queries/issues and ensure relevant Operations teams adopt "best practice" approach to minimise errors and maintain accurate audit trails
  • To assist in creation of price curve baselines and other relevant savings models for clients (general).
  • To assist in delivery of "clean" Commercial reports for the business.
  • To assist in collating data for client audits - where applicable.
  • Provide assistance and support on key Jet reports for the business when necessary.
  • To set up new Customer / Division requests within the Ichor (or other) operating system.

Performance Standards / Key Result areas:

  • To produce accurate historical baselines and reporting.
  • To deliver compliant client related MI to meet agreed deadlines.
  • To ensure Commercial Manager is advised on areas of non-conformance and requirements for commercial compliance in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Accuracy of data/ information presentation.
  • Promote the Commercial Team function within the business at all times, to offer support and guidance to all aspects of the business as required.

Expected Abilities / Skills Required of the Jobholder:

  • Graduate level, ideally 1 st class (minimum 2:1)
  • Must have excellent & demonstrable excel skills
  • Keen eye for working with and manipulating data
  • Skilled in and enjoys data analysis
  • Good communicator
  • Must be willing to learn new / industry specific skills
  • High levels of attention to detail.
  • Organised, self-disciplined and timely in handling administration associated with the job
