Committed to delivering the highest levels of customer service, our client provides a comprehensive range of services to approximately 5,800 homes in and around North Yorkshire.
The Extra Care developments offer fully equipped restaurants, serving residents and the general public 7 days a week. They are currently looking for the below catering staff to assist in the provision of this exceptional service.
The successful candidates will have previous experience of working within the catering industry and should ideally hold a CIEH level 2 cert in Food Hygiene and Level 2 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent). You'll have knowledge of commercial kitchen operations and the principles of healthy eating.
As they are open 7 days a week, you must be able to work flexibly, including weekends on a rota basis.
Assistant Chef GBP7.96 - GBP8.85 per hour
27 hours per week over 5 days including weekend work
You'll be responsible for preparing meals from the daily menu, managing kitchen supplies, and checking and maintaining equipment. With a focus on excellent customer focussed services, you'll work to maintain good working relationships with internal and external customers whilst ensuring high standards of food quality.
In short, you'll be on hand to assist the Chef Manager to ensure the kitchen runs smoothly. With this in mind, you will be comfortable leading others to constantly achieve high standards of work.
Cook GBP7.76 - GBP8.17 per hour
100 hours per month including weekend work
Working in a very busy, food led restaurant/cafe, your role will be to carry out Catering and General Kitchen duties including; preparing, cooking and serving of food, washing up, helping with food deliveries and managing kitchen supplies and serving customers. In all circumstances, you will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness.
Closing Date: 5pm Friday 9th June 2017
