Our client is currently recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Administrator to join their well established and thriving manufacturing company based in South Shields.
This is a great opportunity for an individual with purchase ledger experience who is looking to gain some valuable skills and build their CV.
Position Summary
As Purchase Ledger Assistant, following duties are included in your job specification:
• Purchase ledger and reconciliation of supplier statements
• Matching, batching and coding of purchase transactions
• Handle phone calls from creditors and raising payments as necessary
• Accepting incoming telephone calls, transferring calls to relevant person or take messages in relation to calls
• Filing and any other administrative duty in relation to your job title
• Working as part of a team, by assisting any other members of office staff in their duties as and when this may become necessary
About you
The successful candidate must have previous purchase ledger experience and an excellent knowledge of purchase ledger procedures. Additionally, they should be:
• Competent in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Good telephone manner and excellent communication skills
• Willingness to work with other members of the team is essential
• Suitable skills/experience: Purchase Ledger Clerk, Purchase Ledger Assistant, Purchase Ledger Admin
