UK Parking Control have an exciting opportunity for an individual to provide Regional Support based at their office in Beaconsfield.
Job Title: Regional Support
Location: Beaconsfield
Salary: £20,000 - £24,000 depending on experience
Hours: Rolling rota, 5 days over 7. Minimum 2 weekend days to be worked per month (rota). Time off given in lieu. Saturday hours are 9.00-17.30, Sunday hours are 10.00-16.00. Sunday 1-2 hours to enter payroll details
This is an office based role reporting into the Area Manager. The role works very closely with the Area Managers and Regional Co-ordinator (Peak Hours) to ensure that all wardens within region are managed effectively and working as required.
Regional Support - Key responsibilities:
- To provide continued support to Wardens, Regional Co-ordinator and Area Managers
- To carry out regular GPS checks for wardens in team
- To input warden hours into payroll system on a daily basis (to be completed by Sunday evening)
- To be internal point of contact between wardens and Head Office functions
- Monitor uploading of warden charges
- Allocation of sites to wardens
- Monitoring wardens hours v rota’s
- Conduct spot check requests with wardens
- Review expenses for region and approve/decline
- Review cancellations for regions and distribute to those issuing incorrect charges with guidance
- Compile and check new warden starter packs for region
- Provide iWarden support and guidance
- Co-ordinate call outs for region
- To assist the Area Manager with weekly rota’s for region
- Escalate incidents/emergencies to HR/Area Manager
- Escalate performance concerns to Line Management/HR
- Key link with UKPC internal departments
Regional Support - Person Specification:
- Excellent telephone skills
- Confident at initiating discussions
- An organised individual with exceptional attention to detail
- Must be self motivated
- An interest in the industry and a willingness to learn and adapt
- Ability to amend direction at short notice where required
- You will be required to demonstrate a strong work ethic
- To work as part of a team whilst at the same time being able to manage own workload
Regional Support - Experience/knowledge/skills:
- Experience of working within a fast paced environment with a desire to exceed expectations
- Excellent communication skills
- Be able to deal with verbal and written instructions.
Competent in Microsoft office applications
Interpret and respond clearly and effectively to spoken requests over the phone or in writing
Able to take ownership and accountability when making decisions
Be able to deal professionally with all types of customers
Positive attitude and resilient when faced with challenging and difficult situations
Professional approach to be maintained at all times
