Leading Mechanical and Electrical services contractor is currently looking to appoint an experienced Design Engineer to enable further growth of their highly successful design & drawing team based in Northampton.
The Design Engineer role will involve basic sizing Mechanical of ventilation, heating and cooling loads, boiler plant, pumps duties, pipework sizing including gas etc through the use of CYMAP, and ultimately coordination and review of combined Mechanical & Public Health drawings. The projects undertaken will be within the commercial field varying from logistics facilities, to offices and retail, previous experience in these fields will be an advantage although not essential.
A working knowledge of CYMAP would be a distinct advantage and the ideal candidate for the Design Engineer role will have a minimum of 5 years' experience in building services. Ideally also the individual will have worked for a contracting organisation or consultancy.
Successful candidates for the Design Engineer role will be paid a competitive salary of up to GBP40,000 dependent on experience and qualifications. 20 Days holiday allowance (plus 8 days for public holidays), pension scheme with 3% employer contribution. Excellent working environment, with opportunities for career progression and further technical and personal development.
