REGULATORY COMPLIANCE CONSULTANT

Job description:Core-Asset Consulting's client, an investment management business in Edinburgh, has a new permanent opportunity for a Compliance Consultant to ensure the firm complies with its regulatory responsibilities and manages its regulatory risks appropriately.We are actively seeking applications from self-motivated individuals with an understanding of the UK regulatory regime and ideally, a minimum of 3 years' compliance experience in the investment management industry.Core responsibilities: Review of regulatory developments and assess the impact on the firm's companies. Manage the implementation of regulatory changes across the group. Participation in business projects to provide regulatory and operational risk input. Provide regulatory advice to the business as required. Provide reporting to Committees and Boards on areas of responsibility. Maintain the incident management process and be responsible for following up and reporting on all incidents. Maintain the group compliance manual. Provide regulatory oversight of outsourced service providers. Review and sign off of financial promotions Responsible for New client take on including completion of AML documentation. Development of regulatory and operational risk MI to the firm and also assist in development of standard MI for the business Provision of regulatory training to the business as required.
