Cross Colleges Procurement Officer
Salary Competitive basic salary plus a performance related bonus
Pension: Company Pension Scheme
Hours 37 hours per week, 1.0 FTE
Location Boston / Grantham & Stamford (rotational location)

About the role
Boston College, Grantham College and New College Stamford have joined together and created a Collaborated Procurement Working Party Group.
We are looking to appoint a full time procurement officer to work across all 3 colleges (minimum 1 day a week located in each college). Participating in and reporting to the Collaborated Procurement Working Group, the successful candidate will lead on cross college collaboration purchasing initiatives ensuring best value for money is obtained across all three sites. Benchmarking college procurement data and purchasing consortium costs to identify, analyse and realise the savings.
About you
The successful candidate must be qualified to Level 3 in a relevant subject, have a minimum of 2 years' recent experience of working within a procurement role, demonstrate they can be self-motivated, exceptionally well-organised with superb communication skills. Knowledge of EU procurement directives as well as a full clean driving licence to travel between sites are also essential.
